Mohamed Hamuda

Mohamed Hamuda is a civil society activist whose life-long passion is to bring about change on the local and global level.  His commitment to improving the world around him is evident through his deep engagement across a variety of development programs and international networks, which promotes an emphasis on solving the 21 century challenges that underprivileged youths are subject to.

Mohamed Hamuda, has always been an individual who has sought change for the greater benefit beyond himself. His vision, bigger than the local world which surrounded him; a mission to advocate and integrate change within a local, regional and global scale. His ambitions and goals were simple, and that is to manifest a better future for his homeland in terms of socioeconomic development-solving the 21st century youth underprivileged conflicts and issues which surround Libya.

Whats Next

Mohamed today, seeks to further his knowledge and progress within academia. He currently is ongoing a course concerning the natural resources for development, lead by the Colombian Centre and the World Bank. In addition to this, he is continuous with his management chairmanship of the H20 organisation and board member to the ESCWA and GIZ dialogue project. Meaning we don’t expect any dormancy within his political activities. It is clear this is only the beginning for Hamuda and his next motivations and steps forward are to support the Libyan democratic developments that have flourished leading up to today and ensure they are a sustainable one for the future that the Libyan community so deserves.

Education

In December 2014, Mohamed graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Urban Planning from the School of Engineering at Tripoli University; however, Mohamed’s thirst for education did not halt there. Mohamed then completed a Reversing Resource Course at the European School of Public Policy in May 2016, as well as the Natural Resource Governance Institute Training Course in Budapest.
